Installation Procedure

Install the inflatable restraint module to the instrument panel (I/P).

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

Install the I/P bolts to the inflatable restraint module.
Tighten: Tighten the bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
Connect the inflatable module connector.
Install the trim pad to the I/P. Refer to Instrument Panel (I/P) Assembly Replacement .
Enable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 5 .
