Installation Procedure
WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2004 Pontiac Sunfire and 2004 Chevrolet Cavalier. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
- Connect the digital receiver electrical connector (5), if equipped.
- Connect the electrical connections (4).
- Connect the antenna coaxial cable (1).
- Install the radio (3) to the I/P carrier (6).
- Install the screws (2) to the radio (3).
Tighten: Tighten the screws to 2.3 N.m (20 lb in).
- Refer to one of the following procedures in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
- For the Pontiac, install the I/P accessory trim plate. Refer to Trim Plate Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) Accessory (Pontiac) .
- For the Chevrolet, install the I/P cluster trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) Cluster (Chevrolet) .
