Front Window Operation

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Pontiac Sunfire, 2002 Chevrolet Cavalier, 2001 Pontiac Sunfire, and 2001 Chevrolet Cavalier. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

When ignition switch is in RUN position and left front window switch on master window switch assembly is pressed to the down position, voltage is applied to window motor causing left front window to open. When left front window switch is pressed to the up position, voltage is applied to window motor in opposite direction, left front window closes. Return path to ground is supplied through the inactive control circuit being normally grounded through master window switch. Right front window operation is identical to left front window operation.
