Throttle Actuator Control Module: Removal

  1. Throttle Actuator Control (TAC) module is located behind the right front fender, between the wheelhouse and the dash panel, below the battery. See Figure. Raise and support the vehicle. Remove the right front tire and wheel.
  2. Remove the bolts attaching the right front wheelhouse filler panel. See Figure. Remove the filler panel. Remove the bolts retaining the TAC module to the PCM mounting bracket. Remove the electrical connectors from the TAC module. Remove the TAC module from the vehicle.
