Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2004 Chevrolet Monte Carlo and 2004 Chevrolet Impala. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Position the cruise control cable to the engine.

  2. Install the cruise control cable to the module by rotating the cruise control cable clockwise.

  4. Install the cruise control cable to the cruise control cable retainers.
  5. IMPORTANT: Ensure the module strap is not twisted during installation of the cable.
    IMPORTANT: The cruise control cable does not require mechanical adjusting after the replacement. The cruise control module internally adjusts the cable.
  6. Install the cruise control cable to the cruise control module cable strap.

  8. Install the cruise control cable to the throttle body lever and the accelerator control cable bracket.
