Removal Procedure

  1. Loosen the air cleaner intake duct clamps (2,6).
  2. Remove the PCV tube (4) from the air cleaner intake duct.
  3. Disconnect the intake air temperature (IAT) sensor electrical connector (3).
  4. Disconnect the mass air flow (MAF) sensor electrical connector (5).
  5. Remove the air cleaner intake duct from the air cleaner assembly (8) and the throttle body.
  6. Loosen the clamp on the MAF sensor and remove the air cleaner intake duct from the MAF sensor (7).
  7. If replacing the air cleaner intake duct, remove the IAT sensor (1) with a twisting and pulling motion.
