Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2004 Chevrolet Monte Carlo and 2004 Chevrolet Impala. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the TP sensor O-ring to the TP sensor.

  3. Install the TP sensor.

  5. Apply thread-locking compound LOCTITE® 262, GM P/N 12345493 (Canadian P/N 10953488) or equivalent to the TP sensor screws.
  6. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  7. Install the TP sensor screws.

    Tighten:  Tighten the screws to 2.0 N.m (18 lb in).

  9. Connect the TP sensor electrical connector.

  11. Connect the fuel lines. Refer to Quick Connect Fitting(s) Service (Metal Collar) .
