Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the air cleaner intake duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Intake Duct Replacement .
  2. Unclip the 2 air cleaner cover retaining clamps.
  3. Remove the air cleaner housing cover (5).
  4. Remove the air filter element (6).
  5. Inspect the air cleaner housing cover (5), the seal assembly, and the air cleaner intake duct for damage. If a problem is found, replace as necessary.
