Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2004 Chevrolet Monte Carlo and 2004 Chevrolet Impala. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Position the sunroof module to the vehicle roof with an assistant.
  2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Install the sunroof module bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the sunroof module bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  5. Connect the front and rear drain hoses to the sunroof module.

  7. Connect the electrical connector to the sunroof module.

  9. Install the sunshade panel. Refer to Sunroof Sunshade Panel Replacement .
  10. Install the sunroof window. Refer to Sunroof Window Replacement .
  11. Check for proper operation of the sunroof. Refer to Sunroof Description and Operation .
  12. Install the headliner. Refer to Headliner Replacement (Impala) or Headliner Replacement (Monte Carlo) in Interior Trim.
