BCM Scan Tool Data Definitions

The BCM Scan Tool Data Definitions contains a brief description of all Release System related BCM parameters available on the scan tool.

Hatch/Trunk Ajar Switch: The scan tool displays Open or Closed. When the hatch/trunk is open, the scan tool will display Open. When the hatch/trunk is closed, the scan tool displays Closed.
Hatch/Trunk Release Switch: The scan tool displays Active or Inactive. When the hatch/trunk release switch is pressed, the scan tool will display Active. When the switch is released, the scan tool displays Inactive.
Folding Top Ajar Switch: The scan tool displays Open or Closed. When the folding top is open, the scan tool will display Open. When the folding top is closed, the scan tool displays Closed.
Folding Top Release Switch: The scan tool displays Active or Inactive. When the folding top switch is pressed, the scan tool will display Active. When the switch is released, the scan tool displays Inactive.
