Accelerator Controls Cable Bracket: Removal

  1. Disconnect the cruise control cable from the accelerator controls cable bracket. Disconnect the accelerator cable from the accelerator controls cable bracket. Disconnect the fuel feed and fuel return fuel pipes from the retainer.
  2. Disconnect the transaxle vent hose clip from the accelerator controls cable bracket. Remove the upper throttle body bolt. Remove the bolts from the accelerator controls cable bracket. See Fig 1. To install, reverse removal procedures. Tighten upper throttle body bolt and accelerator controls cable bracket bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
