Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 6 other vehicles, including the 2004 Oldsmobile Bravada, 2004 GMC Envoy XUV, 2004 GMC Envoy XL, 2004 GMC Envoy, and 2004 Chevrolet TrailBlazer. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

  1. Hook the cable end into the lumbar mechanism.

  3. Install the cable to the lumbar spring.

  5. Install the lumbar cable (2) in the cable clip (1) located on the lower seat back.

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  7. Install 2 screws (1) securing the cable to the seat adjuster.

    Tighten:  Tighten the lumbar cable screws to 6 N.m (53 lb in).

  8. Install the seat back cover and pad. Refer to Seat Back Cover and Pad Replacement - Front .
  9. Install the seat trim panel. Refer to Seat Cushion Outer Trim Panel Replacement .
  10. Install the seat assembly to the vehicle. Refer to Seat Replacement - Front Bucket .
