Installation Procedure

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  1. Install the battery.
  2. Install the battery hold down retainer and bolt.

    Tighten:  Tighten the battery hold down retainer bolt to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

  3. Connect the positive battery cable.

    Tighten:  Tighten the positive battery cable bolt to 4 N.m (36 lb in).

  4. Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnect/Connect Procedure .
