Clutch Start Switch ReplacementRemoval Procedure
1. Disable the supplemental inflatable restraints (SIR) system.
2. Remove the left instrument panel (I/P) lower insulator panel.
3. Disconnect the clutch pedal start switch harness electrical connector (1 ) from the clutch switch (2).
4. Rotate the clutch pedal start switch (2) counterclockwise a quarter turn, then remove the switch from the pedal bracket assembly.
Installation Procedure
1. Install the switch in the pedal bracket assembly, then rotate the clutch pedal start switch (2) clockwise a quarter turn to the locked position.
2. Connect the clutch pedal start switch electrical connector to the clutch switch (2).
3. Install the instrument panel driver knee bolster.
4. Enable the SIR system.
