Keyless Entry Module: Description and Operation
KEYLESS ENTRY MODULEWhen the keyless entry module receives a door lock or an unlock signal from the transmitter, the keyless entry module sends a message to the theft module though the multi function alarm module. This message orders the multi function alarm module to perform the appropriate door lock/unlock command. The theft module detects the message and performs one of the following functions:
- Enters the armed initiated mode
- Enters the ready to arm mode.
