Installation Procedure

    Fig 1: Coolant Temperature Sensor

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  1. Install the coolant temperature sensor.

    Tighten:  Tighten the sensor to 22 N.m (16 lb ft).

  2. Fig 2: Locating Coolant Temperature Sensor Electrical Connector

  3. Install the coolant temperature sensor electrical connector.
  4. Inspect and fill the cooling system as necessary. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System in Engine Cooling.
