Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2004 Chevrolet Monte Carlo and 2004 Chevrolet Impala. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the traction control switch to the floor console trim plate.

  3. Connect the electrical connector to the traction control switch.
  4. Carefully install the floor console trim plate. Make sure all of the retainers are fully engaged.
  5. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  6. Install the floor console trim plate screw (1).

    Tighten:  Tighten the floor console trim plate screw to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

  8. Position the transaxle shift control lever to Park.
  9. Install the center console mat.
  10. Release the park brake.
