Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the instrument panel (I/P) accessory trim plate. Refer to Trim Plate Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) Accessory in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
  2. Remove the I/P center compartment. Refer to Compartment Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) - Center in Instrument Panel, Gauges, and Console.
    3. Fig 1: Retaining Screws & HVAC Control Module

  3. Remove the retaining screws (1) from the HVAC control module.
  4. Pull the HVAC control module out from the I/P.
  5. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the HVAC control module.
  6. Remove the HVAC control module.
