Installation Procedure

Position the radio to the I/P.
Connect the I/P wiring harness connectors and the antenna cable connector to the radio.

IMPORTANT: If the radio locator is difficult to align to the I/P locator opening, pull the radio toward you and reposition the antenna cable.

Install the radio to the I/P.
Align the radio locator to the hole in the I/P while pressing the radio into position.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

Install the radio screws.
Tighten: Tighten the screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).
Install the HVAC control assembly. Refer to HVAC Control Assembly Replacement in HVAC Systems-Manual.
Install the I/P center compartment. Refer to Compartment Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) - Center in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
Install the I/P accessory trim plate. Refer to Trim Plate Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) Accessory in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
Perform the radio set up procedure for new radios. Refer to Radio Setup .
