Traction Control Active Message

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

The drive information center displays the traction active message when engine torque reduction or brake pressure application is required to maintain traction. The EBCM sends a serial data message to the driver information center (DIC) requesting this display.
