POWERTRAIN INTERFACE MODULE (PIM) REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Disconnect the electrical connector (2) from the (PIM) control module.
2. Remove the powertrain interface module (PIM) control module (1) from the vehicle.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Position the (PIM) control module (1) to the vehicle.
2. Connect the electrical connector (2) to the (PIM) control module (1).
3. The (PIM) control module (1) must be security linked to the (BCM) body control module and the (ECM). Refer to Body Control Module (BCM) Programming/RPO Configuration and Service Programming System (SPS). Programming and Relearning
