Installation Procedure

    Fig 1: View Of Accelerator Cable Bracket

  1. Install the accelerator cable bracket to the throttle body.
    2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the nuts and bolts.

    Tighten: 

    • Tighten the bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
    • Tighten the nut to 13 N.m (115 lb in).

  3. Connect the accelerator cable into the accelerator cable bracket.
  4. Connect the accelerator cable cross slug to the throttle body slots.

  5. If applicable connect the cruise control cable to the throttle lever and accelerator bracket.
