Removal Procedure

Fig 1: Removing/Installing Accelerator & Cruise Control Cables From Accelerator Cable Bracket

Disconnect the accelerator and cruise control cables from the throttle body lever.
Depress the tangs and remove the accelerator and cruise control cables from the accelerator cable bracket.

If applicable disconnect the cruise control cable from the throttle lever and accelerator bracket.

Remove the nuts and bolts holding the accelerator cable bracket to the throttle body.
Remove the accelerator cable bracket.
