Installation Procedure

    IMPORTANT: Inspect the CMP sensor for damage, replace as necessary.
  1. Lubricate the CMP sensor O-ring seal with clean engine oil.
  2. Install the CMP sensor.
    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Install the CMP sensor bolt.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  5. Connect the intake CMP sensor electrical connector (1).
  6. Install intake manifold cover. Refer to INTAKE MANIFOLD COVER REPLACEMENT .
