Installation Procedure

IMPORTANT: Position the radiator support in the correct relationship to the fan shroud.
  1. Install the radiator support.

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the radiator support bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

  3. Fig 3: Connecting The Surge Tank Inlet Hose Assembly

  4. Connect the surge tank inlet hose assembly to the radiator support tabs.
  5. Install the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement in Engine Controls - 6.0L.
