Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor: Service and Repair

FUEL TANK PRESSURE SENSOR REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the fuel tank assembly.
2. Remove the modular fuel pump and sender assembly from the fuel tank.

IMPORTANT: Do not pull or lever the fuel tank pressure sensor out from the connector end as damage may occur to the sensor body.




3. Remove the fuel tank pressure sensor (2) from the sender assembly cover (1).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the fuel tank pressure sensor (2) to the sender assembly cover (1).
2. Install the modular fuel pump and sender assembly to the fuel tank.
3. Install the fuel tank assembly.
