Manifold Pressure/Vacuum Sensor: Service and Repair

MANIFOLD ABSOLUTE PRESSURE (MAP) SENSOR REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the oil filler cap (1).
2. Remove the right engine sight shield (2).
3. Disconnect the manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor electrical connector (3).




4. Remove the MAP sensor (714) from the intake manifold.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the MAP sensor (714).




2. Reconnect the MAP sensor electrical connector (3) to the engine wiring harness.
3. Install engine sight shield (2).
4. Install the oil filler cap (1).
