Installation Procedure

  1. Position the module bracket in the vehicle.
    2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install 3 module bracket mounting bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the module bracket bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  3. Connect the inverter electrical connector (2).
  4. Clip the antenna and module harness (1), to the module bracket.
  5. Install the communication vehicle interface unit. Refer to OnStar® Vehicle Interface Unit (VIU) Replacement .
  6. Install the communication interface module. Refer to Communication Interface Module Replacement .
