Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the communication interface module. Refer to Communication Interface Module Replacement .
  2. Remove the communication vehicle interface unit. Refer to OnStar® Vehicle Interface Unit (VIU) Replacement .

  3. Unclip the antenna and module harness (1), from the module bracket.
  4. Disconnect the inverter electrical connector (2).

  5. Remove 3 module bracket mounting bolts.
  6. Remove the module bracket.
