Setup for Component Replacement

The replacement of some components will require a setup procedure for complete repair.

If any of the following components are replaced, an Idle Learn Procedure must be performed. Refer to Throttle Learn for the 3.6L engine or Throttle Learn for the 6.0L engine.

• Throttle body assembly
• ECM

• If any of the following components are replaced, a CKP Variation Learn Procedure must be performed. Refer to Crankshaft Position System Variation Learn for the 6.0L engine.

• Engine replacement
• Any engine repair that disables the crankshaft position (CKP) sensor or its relationship with the crankshaft reluctor wheel
• CKP sensor
