Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2008 Pontiac Vibe. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

  1. Insert the antenna cable (3) through the opening in the roof, make sure the 2 tabs (2) lock in.
  2. Connect the antenna base cable assembly, to the rear antenna extension cable. Refer to Radio Antenna Cable Extension Cable Replacement .

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  4. Secure the antenna cable base (1) to the roof with the nut (4).

    Tighten:  Tighten the antenna base cable nut (4) to 4.5 N.m (40 lb in).

  6. Route the antenna base cable assembly (1) along the roof (5).
  7. Secure the antenna cable (1) to the roof (5) with the 4 retainers (4).
  8. Install the headliner. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement .
  9. Install the antenna mast. Refer to Fixed Antenna Mast Replacement .
