Installation Procedure

Apply Loctite® to the inner portion of the wheel speed sensor reluctor (2).
Insert the wheel speed sensor reluctor (2) onto the hub assembly.
Install the ring (1) of the J 44253 onto the wheel speed sensor reluctor. See Special Tools .

Insert the J 44253 (1). See Special Tools .

IMPORTANT: Turn the J 44253 until it just touches the ring of the J 44253 . See Special Tools .

Turn the J 44253 (1) to thread the wheel speed sensor reluctor. See Special Tools .
Install the wheel speed sensor. Refer to Rear Wheel Bearing and Hub Replacement (FE1, FE3) or Rear Wheel Bearing and Hub Replacement (FE7) .
