Power Steering Control Module Scan Tool Information

Power Steering Control Module Scan Tool Data Parameters

Battery Voltage Signal - Varies The scan tool displays Volts. This is the current battery voltage at the power steering module.
Engine RPM - Varies The scan tool displays RPM. This is the speed at which the engine is running.
Ignition Voltage - Varies The scan tool displays Volts. This is the ignition voltage at the power steering module.
Module Temperature - Varies The scan tool displays °C or °F. This is the temperature at the power steering module.
Power Steering Motor Feedback - Varies The scan tool displays Amps. This is the actual amount of current at the power steering module.
Power Steering Motor 1 Command - Varies The scan tool displays Amps. This is the demanded amount of current at the power steering module.
Power Steering Motor 2 Command - Varies The scan tool displays Amps. This is the demanded amount of current at the power steering module.
Power Steering Motor Rotation - Varies The scan tool display degrees. This is the motor rotation angle of the steering motor.
PS Motor Phase U - Varies The scan tool displays volts. This is the terminal voltage at the motor phase U.
PS Motor Phase V - Varies The scan tool displays volts. This is the terminal voltage at the motor phase V.
PS Motor Phase W - Varies The scan tool displays volts. This is the terminal voltage at the motor phase W.
PS Motor Supply Voltage - Varies The scan tool displays volts. This is the supply voltage at the motor.
Steering Position Sensor - Varies The scan tool displays deg/s. This is the steering angle speed when the wheel is turned.
Steering Shaft Torque - Varies The scan tool displays nm. This is the amount of torque when the wheel is turned.
Torque Sensor Signal 1 - Varies The scan tool displays volts. This is the voltage at the torque sensor. 2.3 to 2.7 volts with steering wheel not turned (without load). 2.5 to 3.8 volts with steering wheel turned to the right with vehicle stopped. 1.2 to 2.5 volts with steering wheel turned to the left with vehicle stopped.
Torque Sensor Signal 2 - Varies The scan tool displays volts. This is the voltage at the torque sensor. 2.3 to 2.7 volts with steering wheel not turned (without load). 1.2 to 2.5 volts with steering wheel turned to the right with vehicle stopped. 2.5 to 3.8 volts with steering wheel turned to the left with vehicle stopped.
Torque Sensor 1 Ref. Position - Varies The scan tool displays volts. This is the torque sensor 1 value.
Torque Sensor 2 Ref. Position - Varies The scan tool displays volts. This is the torque sensor 2 value.
Vehicle Speed - Varies This displays km/h (mph). This is the current vehicle speed.
