Removal Procedure

    WARNING: Refer to Battery Disconnect Warning .
    NOTE: Remote keyless transmitters must be programmed when remote control module/receiver is replaced.
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the instrument panel storage compartment. Refer to Instrument Panel Storage Compartment Replacement .
  3. Disconnect the control module/receiver electrical connector.

  5. Slide the control module/receiver (1) away from its mounting bracket.
