Setup for Component Replacement

The replacement of some components will require a setup procedure for complete repair.
- If any of the following components are replaced, an idle learn procedure must be performed. Refer to the appropriate procedure:
- THROTTLE/IDLE LEARN
- Throttle body assembly
- ECM
- THROTTLE/IDLE LEARN
- If any of the following components are replaced, a CKP variation learn procedure must be performed. Refer to the appropriate procedure:
- CRANKSHAFT POSITION SYSTEM VARIATION LEARN
for the 1.6L (LXT) engine
- CKP sensor
- Engine replacement
- Any engine repair that disturbs the relationship between CKP sensor and the crankshaft reluctor wheel.
