Circuit/System Testing

- Ignition OFF, disconnect the X2 harness connector at the radio.
- Test less than 5 Ω between the ground circuit terminal 16 and ground.
- If greater than specified range, test the ground circuit for an open/high resistance.
- Ignition ON, verify a test lamp illuminates between the B+ circuits listed below and ground.
- Battery Positive Voltage terminal 10
- Battery Positive Voltage terminal 14
- Battery Positive Voltage terminal 15
- If the test lamp does not illuminate, test the appropriate B+ circuit for a short to ground or an open/high resistance.
- If all the circuits test normal, replace the radio.
