Installation Procedure

  1. Install the accelerator pedal to the steering column support bracket.
  2. CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  3. Install the accelerator pedal to steering column support bracket retaining bolts (2) and tighten to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).
  4. Connect the accelerator pedal sensor module electrical connector (1).
  5. Inspect for correct carpet fit under the accelerator pedal.
  6. If re-programming is required, refer to Control Module References .
  7. Install the left I/P on the lower closeout insulator panel. Refer to Knee Bolster Replacement .
