Removal Procedure

- Remove the shift control assembly. Refer to Shift Control Replacement .
- Disconnect the brake transaxle shift interlock (BTSI) solenoid harness connector.
- Using a screwdriver, disconnect the plastic retainers at solenoid base and at the park lock lever.
- Remove the solenoid from the shift control assembly.
