Removal Procedure

Drain the engine coolant. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .
Remove the engine cover. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement .

Remove the air cleaner cap sub-assembly with hose.
Disconnect the mass air flow meter connector and the 2 wire harness clamps.

Disconnect the ventilation hose and loosen the hose clamp.

Unlock the 2 clamps and remove the air cleaner cap sub-assembly with hose.

Disconnect the throttle body connector and the 2 water by-pass hoses.

Remove the 2 bolts and 2 nuts, and remove the throttle body assembly.

Remove the gasket from the intake manifold.
