Knock Sensor Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the intake manifold. Refer to Intake Manifold Replacement (Service and Repair).




2. Disconnect the knock sensor connector (2).
3. Remove the bolt (1) and remove the knock sensor.

Installation Procedure





Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

1. Install the knock sensor with the bolt and tighten to 20 Nm (15 lb ft).




2. Connect the knock sensor connector (1).




3. Install the intake manifold. Refer to Intake Manifold Replacement (Service and Repair).
