Installation Procedure

  1. Apply a light coat of engine oil to the O-ring (1) on the camshaft position sensors.

    CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  2. Install the camshaft position sensor (1) with the bolt and tighten to 10 N.m (7 lb ft).

  3. Connect the camshaft position sensor connector (1).
  4. Inspect for oil leaks.
  5. Install the engine cover. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement .
