Installation Procedure

    CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution
  1. Install the engine coolant temperature sensor (1) through a new gasket and tighten to 20N.m (14 lb ft).
    2. Fig 2: Locating Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor Connector

  2. Connect the engine coolant temperature sensor connector (1).
  3. Add engine coolant. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .
  4. Inspect for a coolant leak.
  5. Install the air cleaner cap sub-assembly with hose.
  6. Install the engine cover. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement .
