Safety Circuit

The safety circuit will detect erroneous signals in the electronic control unit as well as defects in wire harness and plug connections. The ABS is switched off when a problem occurs, indicated when indicator light comes on.

The safety circuit constantly monitors battery voltage. If voltage drops below the specified value, the ABS will be switched off until specified value is reached. The safety circuit also has an active section known as "BITE" (Built In Test Equipment).
