Left Rear Speed Sensor (Insulating Resistance)

  1. Press "HL" button. Digital display should read 20,000 ohms. If readout is okay, go to RIGHT REAR SPEED SENSOR (INSULATING RESISTANCE) test. If not, go to step 2).
  2. Check plug connection. Disconnect sensor plug. Bridge coupling plug (sleeve end). Repeat test. If digital display is okay, replace speed sensor. If not, go to step 3).
  3. Check wires from terminals No. 8 and 9 to coupling plug for malfunction. Inspect all wires for damage from rubbing. Repair or replace wiring as necessary.
