DIAGNOSIS/TROUBLESHOOTING PROCEDURE

Work instruction		Display OK	If not OK
1	Check fault memory in the trailer hitch control module for further faults	Further faults present => Correct the faults	Go to Step 2
2	Perform initialization for trailer hitch	Switch on ignition Rear lid open Keep button pressed in 'pivot out' direction until limit stop is reached Keep button pressed in 'pivot in' direction until limit stop is reached Repeat procedure once more
3	Replace trailer hitch control unit	→ End
