Vehicle level sensor: Diagnosis/troubleshooting

NOTE: If a vehicle level sensor or the level control module is replaced, it must be calibrated using the 9588 Porsche System Tester II.
DIAGNOSIS/TROUBLESHOOTING PROCEDURE

Work instruction Display OK If not OK
1 Check vehicle tires:
  • Check that the tires on the vehicle correspond to the specified tire size.
Go to Step 2 Repair or replace vehicle tires.

2 Check vehicle level sensor mechanism:
  • Check the connecting rods of the vehicle level sensors for damage.
  • Check wheel suspension.
Go to Step 3 Repair or replace mechanism.

3 Re-calibrate level control module
Calibrating level control module, refer to 43 K2 CALIBRATION - AS OF MY 2003 (ALL MODELS EXCEPT CAYENNE S TIO TITAN) .
→ End Go to Step 4
4 Replace one or more vehicle level sensors. → End Go to Step 5
5 Replace level control module. → End
