DIAGNOSIS OF CAN - TIMEOUT FOR VEHICLES WITH AN AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION

A signal failure occur if the following conditions are fulfilled for a delay period from the end-of-start (see following chart):
- terminal voltage 15 is on
- battery voltage is greater than 8.97 Volts, and
- no CAN message from the automatic transmission control.
