BOSCH Electronic Fuel Injection: Maintenance

NOTE: The following operations must be carried out at regular service intervals.

Replace fuel filter, clean or replace spark plugs, and set ignition timing. Timing must be set using stroboscopic light with engine temperature above 50°C.

Check operation of throttle valve switch. Run engine and remove hose between auxiliary air regulator and intake air distributor at regulator. Idling speed should change. If no change, throttle valve switch should be replaced.
