Fuel System Pressure Release

WARNING: Always relieve fuel pressure before disconnecting any fuel injection-related component. DO NOT  allow fuel to contact engine or electrical components.

To relieve fuel pressure, remove the fuel pump fuse. On 900 Series, the fuse block is located on left side of engine compartment. Fuel pump fuse is No. 30. On 9000 Series, fuses are located behind panel inside glove compartment. Fuel pump fuse is No. 14. Start engine and let run until engine stalls. Turn ignition off. Replace fuse.
