Selector Switch Check

  1. Measure voltage between breakout box pins No. 3 and 8. Press SET button. Voltmeter should indicate battery voltage. When SET button is not pressed, no voltage should be present.
  2. Measure voltage between breakout box pins No. 4 and 8. Press RESUME button. Voltmeter should indicate battery voltage. When RESUME button is not pressed, no voltage should be present.
  3. Measure voltage between breakout box pins No. 9 and 8. Battery voltage should be present. Press TIP button. Voltmeter should indicate zero volts. If any voltage reading is incorrect, check wiring harness and connectors between selector switch and ECU connector.
